HUMAN MALES BEARING EGGS

A highly placed official at the Environmental Protection Agency, SPEAKING ON CONDITION OF ANONYMITY, has revealed the existence of a recent, suppressed study showing that 26% of the 1,251 men autopsied for the investigation had eggs developing in their testes.

"We've been seeing this in frogs for over a decade," the official commented, "and in fish too, but this is the first report of gender conversion in humans." Environmental scientists have long known there is a direct correlation between the concentration of herbicides and pesticides in pond water and the extent of gender conversion in indicator species like frogs and fish. Industry representatives have discounted the findings and have commissioned their own studies, which have uniformly supported the industry position that herbicides and pesticides are environmentally neutral for humans and other mammalian species. Environmentalists have expressed concern, and now the suppressed study would seem to support their fears.

According to the EPA scientist, human sperm develop from a basal cell that undergoes meiosis to create the sperm cell with half the complement of chromosomes. Apparently, under the influence of herbicides and pesticides, the basal cells are shunted onto a different developmental trajectory that leads to their sometimes producing the typical follicle cell found in the women's ovaries. "This has never been seen before," the scientist stated. "This study has been buried deeply. The scientists have been moved to different research that has taken them out of the U.S. They are unavailable for interviews, and they've been told they'll be destroyed if they speak out on this."

"Lots of the pesticides act by interfering with the normal maturation of insects. Apparently there are places where the biology of insect maturation and the biology of sperm and egg maturation overlap. When they do, these chemicals can shift the process and eggs are produced where sperm are supposed to be."

The potential for dire consequences seems enhanced. "I don't think you'll have guys getting pregnant from their own sperm and developing a fetus in their scrotums," the EPA scientist opined, but I do think we should be concerned about the extent of feminization qoing on." Recent published studies have shown that humans have 90 or more foreign chemicals in their bodies. "We're seeing a huge increase in gynecomastia, where men develop breasts," the scientist said. "Now we're seeing men producing eggs instead of sperm. We've seen a steady decline in men's sperm counts worldwide. All of this suggests the pesticides and herbicides are dangerous to men's reproductive health. The problem is that these chemicals make fortunes for the corporations that synthesize them, so they're not about to stop making them." Apparently the manufacturers are doing all they can to suppress the knowledge that men are at risk from the agricultural chemicals. "There's more truth to Schwarzenegger's calling his opponents 'girly men' than anyone realizes," said the scientist referring to the California governor's swipe at democrats in the state Assembly a year ago.
